AT: Ulysses STILL Owns the Zone...

Alrighty, so for my half of an art trade with The-Resident-Jinx, they requested that I draw the General, a canon adversary to both Batman and Tim Drake.

They always know how to make me laugh

I really want to applaud Jinx for what they've done for Ulysses. They really took a relatively minor canon character and made him their own. By now, they've read practically EVERY SINGLE comic appearance of the General (if not actually all of them!), and the attention to detail they put into their characterization of Ulysses is truly admirable. Jinx's blending of canon information and their own interpretations of Ulysses is pretty much seamless. If you don't believe me, check out their headcanon for Ulysses:

I must admit that I didn't previously know much about the General. I've read maybe two of his canon appearances. But Jinx has really made me feel like I know the character quite well.
And now adding my own interpretation, I often picture Ulysses riding around in a mini-tank. It's no secret that Ulysses is a pretty short guy, but don't tell him that. I can just imagine him riding around in a small tank that makes him feel like a giant
